DIY Paper Lantern
DIY Paper Lantern set up in middle of table with flowers and wine glasses in background.

Love is in the air! Several of my friends just got engaged over Valentine’s Day and are now in full wedding planning mode. To help get them going on their DIY Wedding decor I couldn’t help but design these lovely cherry blossom lanterns. After all spring is just around the corner. These elegant decorations would also look lovely at a spring party, bridal or baby showers, birthday parties or just to brighten up a rainy Sunday brunch. We used white metallic cardstock which we love for its classic simplicity, but the design works just as well with metallic papers in any color. There are some really beautiful pastel papers available in craft stores and online at the moment which we think would look just stunning. You will also need white vellum paper for the windows and battery tea lights to pop inside your finished lanterns. I have included the svg cutting and pdf files below.

Thanks ~ Lia~
